Collaboration with Eric Daine - brand new!

These images are of a new interactive piece titled, "Ups and Downs: Graphic Home Equalizer", that I made with help from Eric Daine. This piece is interactive and microchip controlled. Microphones on the inside of the work sample sound in the room and turn on LED lights that sit behind small images of houses. When the room is quiet for 60 seconds the LEDs will light and scroll the word HOUSE in morse code.

View from outside the Hardman Hall Gallery at Mercer University, where the piece is currently on display.

Side view.

Detail of the top of the piece, two microphones are inside the house shape.

Detail of one of the images with LED lights turned on.

Another detail of one of the images.

Video clip of the work displaying morse code.

Wow! I am going to have to go to the gallery to see this in person...that is a pretty interesting concept.
